Managing a caseload of predominantly respiratory cases—including COPD, pneumonia, and other acute or chronic lung diseases—you will strengthen your skills, expand your knowledge of respiratory therapies, and further your experience in a setting that values teamwork and excellence. The 42-bed unit features daily interdisciplinary rounds and also includes an 8-bed step-down unit, fostering opportunities for continuous learning and collaboration.

Schedule/Hours:

36 or 48 hours per week (your choice) Holidays as required Every other weekend Must be willing to float to other units or local hospitals

Qualifications:

Associate degree in nursing (required) Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact state (no temp licenses; NURSYS verification required) AHA BLS or Red Cross certification (required) Minimum of 18 months' experience (prefer 2 years), with at least 1 year of recent experience in this specialty area

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality care to respiratory and multi-diagnosis patients Administer respiratory therapies & collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams Participate in patient assessments, daily rounds, and develop care plans Float to alternative units or hospitals as needed
