As a nurse in this progressive 32-bed General Surgical Unit, you'll contribute to high-quality postoperative care, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams and developing your expertise in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment. Schedule Options:
36 or 48 hours per week Every other weekend required Holiday coverage as scheduledKey Qualifications:
Associate degree in Nursing Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or compact state (temporary licenses not accepted) AHA BLS or American Red Cross certification Minimum 2 years' nursing experience (will consider 18 months with 1 year recent in specialty) Willingness to float to other units and facilitiesCore Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive postoperative care for surgical patients, including pain management and mobility support Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to promote exceptional patient outcomes Maintain a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio to ensure personalized attention Uphold a healing, supportive environment tailored to each patient's needsPerks & Benefits:
