Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment offering flexibility for adventure and exploration Department support and coverage for admissions and float needs Stepping into this role, you'll care for patients recovering from strokes, amputations, neurological disorders, and post-surgical procedures. Your nursing expertise will be pivotal as you collaborate with knowledgeable leaders, therapists, and case managers, learning diverse workplace practices and technologies such as EPIC, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing systems. This experience will not only enrich your clinical skills but also enhance your resume with exposure to a variety of care settings.Qualifications:
Active RN license and current BLS certification required At least 18 months of experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care rehab setting Proficiency in trach management (refresher provided), foley care, wound care, IV management, and tube feedings Willingness to float throughout the region's facilities; flexibility is essential EMR experience preferred (EPIC platform) Not preferred for first-time travelersPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with a focus on rehab and LTC needs Manage patient loads as per regional ratios, maintaining excellent documentation and communication Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Float to designated facilities within the region as requiredBenefits and Perks:
