1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Massachusetts, working night shifts on a 15-bed L&D unit that follows an inpatient rooming model. Details 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit in an inpatient hospital setting Follows inpatient rooming model — all infants room with their mothers; newborn nursery available for infants requiring additional care Patient population includes neonates and adults Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:00 Every other weekend required Medications managed via Omnicell system SBAR used for clinical communication Requirements Active MA RN license required Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner Fetal Monitoring Preferred certifications: AWHONN Intermediate and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration All time off and scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply but will be screened carefully for relevant experience Charge nurse experience is not required or preferred for this role
