Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This eight-week assignment offers valuable exposure to a range of trauma surgical, neuro, and orthopedic cases on a busy Medical/Surgical unit. Schedule & Details:
12-hour night shifts (5:30 PM start) 36 guaranteed hours per week Rotating weekends (every other), with holiday rotation Float within the facility and to nearby locations within a 60-mile radius Contract begins 06/08/2026
Qualifications:
Active WI RN license AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 3+ years RN experience; 2+ years Med/Surg, 1+ travel assignment Recent EPIC charting proficiency (within 2 years) Documented neuro/ortho trauma experience is a must Hardworking, adaptable, and socially adept Black scrub attire
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing care for trauma surgical, neuro, and ortho patients (typical ratio 1:5-1:6) Manage post-op care for neuro and ortho trauma surgeries, including fusions, spines, and related interventions Work with chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball devices, and CBI per unit protocols Support quality outcomes through documentation and teamwork Float as required to sites based on needs and skills
