This is an excellent role for a Registered Respiratory Therapist eager to gain exposure to innovative workplace practices and progressive leadership approaches within a dynamic 240-bed acute care setting. The department is equipped with PB 840 ventilators and uses Meditech EMR, providing an outstanding environment to build your expertise across a broad patient mix from NICU to critical care. You'll collaborate with a seasoned team of RTs, contribute to patient care in various specialized units, and enjoy a workplace that values autonomy and emphasizes collaborative practice—perfect for expanding your resume with new skills and responsibilities.

Schedule:

6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, flexible options available

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate ventilators, administer respiratory therapies, and assist with intubations Conduct arterial blood gas analysis and patient/staff education on respiratory therapies Deliver care across ICU, NICU, ED, Peds, and Med-Surg units Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to support patient liberation from mechanical ventilation

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital RRT experience required BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are mandatory CRT or NBRC credentials Prior Meditech experience, as well as

PICU/NICU

backgrounds, are highly desirable Must excel as a supportive team player and collaborator, with a readiness for autonomy
