Position Details:
Immediate start through June 13th, 2026 Elementary grade level, K-2 focus In-person (essential for young learners) Serving around 20 students Primary area: Specific Learning Disability (SLD) support
Qualifications:
Valid Maine educator license for Elementary Special Education Experience working with K-2 students preferred Strong understanding of SLD interventions and IEP development Ability to build supportive relationships with young learners Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction to meet diverse learning needs Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs aligned with SLD requirements Collaborate with classroom teachers, caregivers, and support staff Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment Use engaging, age-appropriate instructional methods
