This position covers two FMLA leaves, beginning in late July and running through January. You'll start with Early Intervention caseloads—providing vital services in home-bound settings alongside supportive peers—then transition to Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) caseloads in local learning centers. This dual experience not only diversifies your skillset but also introduces you to innovative workplace practices and different leadership styles, bolstering your resume for future roles.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license for Oregon (or eligibility to obtain) Experience in school settings with early intervention or ECSE preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Adaptability for travel and multi-site workResponsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to infants and young children Conduct assessments, develop IEPs/IFSPs, and update documentation Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams Travel to homes (early in the assignment) and learning centers (later phase) Adjust therapeutic approaches for varied environments and student needsBenefits:
