Schedule/Hours:

7:00 am - 7:30 pm shifts Includes every other/every third holiday rotation

Qualifications:

Active RN license (State of Michigan or compact, as applicable) Minimum of 1 year of recent Stepdown or Progressive Care nursing experience Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Current BLS and ACLS certifications Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess progressive care patients, providing timely and safe interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and update patient care plans Administer medications and treatments per established protocols Educate patients and families on disease processes, recovery expectations, and home care needs Document patient progress and responses accurately in electronic health records Contribute to a supportive and collaborative atmosphere within the Stepdown unit
