As a valued PCU RN Float Pool nurse, you'll rotate across all
PCU/IMCU
units, managing a primarily cardiac patient population. This assignment is ideal for the nurse who thrives in fast-paced, varied environments and enjoys engaging both their critical thinking and technical skills. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to optimal patient outcomes and leadership-driven best practices.Schedule/Hours:
Travel Assignment Minimal requested time offQualifications:
Active RN license Minimum 2 years' experience in comparably sized facilities (stepdown/PCU/IMCU)BLS & ACLS
certification required Previous experience with cardiac patients, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors) Expertise with telemetry beds and moderate to high acuityPCU/IMCU
populations Familiarity withEPIC EMR
Ability to float to multiple units as neededKey Responsibilities:
Manage a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio, including higher acuity cardiac patients Administer cardiac medications and drips per current protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality cardiac care Float across all units assigned, adjusting seamlessly to the needs of each department Maintain accurate documentation usingEPIC Benefits & Perks:
