Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification or licensure in special education for visual impairments Previous experience supporting students with visual impairments in educational settings Strong collaborative and communication skills Dedication to empowering students' independence and access to curriculum
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments, ensuring alignment with each IEP Partner with school personnel, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective strategies Advocate for student needs, ensuring equal access to learning materials and school activities Track student progress and adjust accommodations as needed
