Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Travel Elevate your nursing career by making a meaningful impact on a dedicated medical-surgical/telemetry unit. This opportunity centers on providing exemplary care to patients aged 15 and older in a 90-bed Level 2 trauma facility. As an experienced RN, you'll be at the forefront of inpatient care, leveraging your clinical expertise and compassion in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Schedule:
12-hour shifts available
Day Shift:
7:00 am - 7:30 pm
Night Shift:
7:00 pm - 7:30 am Every 6 weeks rotation schedule Weekend requirement: 2 weekends per month or 4 weekend days
Qualifications:
Active RN license required Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience Must have current ACLS and BLS certifications Floating to Rancho Springs Hospital may be required to meet patient care needs Previous experience in similar-sized inpatient hospitals is a plus Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive care to a diverse patient population (15+ years), maintaining patient ratios of 4:1 (tele) and 5:1 (med/surg) Monitor and document patients' conditions using a documentation system other than Cerner Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and support staff Promote patient safety and advocate for best practices in a trauma Level 2 setting Flexibly float between units within hospital network, as needed
