Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Travel Step into a vital nursing role within a progressive acute care environment, responsible for delivering care to patients in a telemetry setting. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment with immediate start on day shifts (6:45 a.m. - 7:15 p.m.), including alternating weekends (Saturday-Sunday).

Days:
6:45 a.m. - 7:15 p.m. Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license Current ACLS and BLS certifications Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry (TELE) experience Willingness and ability to float to Medical/Surgical and Bariatric units as needed Demonstrated critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills Strong communication abilities and a collaborative approach to care
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process, adhering to applicable state and organizational standards Monitor and assess patients in the PCU/Telemetry unit, responding proactively to patient needs Coordinate and delegate patient care priorities based on staff competencies and patient requirements Supervise and provide direction to licensed and unlicensed personnel Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training opportunities Uphold safety, infection control, and quality improvement practices at all times Foster a supportive environment for patients and their families
