Key Responsibilities:
Perform general ultrasound exams in accordance with physician directives and department protocols Maintain ARDMS certification and ensure clinical, technical proficiency Accurately identify patients, verify orders, and prepare patients for examinations Review and evaluate image quality and clarity to support accurate diagnoses Complete studies efficiently without compromising quality or patient care Document patient information, procedures, and any adverse reactions Adhere to infection control and sterile technique standards Provide patient education, comfort, and address their concerns Handle medical coding, consents, charging, and management reports Mentor students and radiology technologists in protocols and equipment use Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and respond promptly to emergenciesDesired Qualifications:
Active ARDMS certification Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging; vascular procedure experience preferred Strong communication skills and independent work ethic Demonstrated ability to operate imaging equipment and information systems Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare settingBenefits & Perks:
