Key Qualifications:
Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging and related vascular procedures. Strong anatomical knowledge and imaging technique application. Previous experience assisting and instructing peers or students is a plus. Excellent communication skills; works well individually and collaboratively. Ability to prioritize and respond effectively in emergency situations.Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations following physician directives and department protocols. Ensure accurate patient identification, order verification, and preparation for exams. Review and evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic quality. Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterile techniques. Document procedures, maintain records, and provide thorough management reporting. Educate and support patients, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort throughout their procedure.
