Traveling GPS Dozer Operator

We specialize in land reclamation, land clearing, revegetation, drain projects, and brush mowing. We contract with coal mines, landfills, quarries, USACE, and many other entities. Position Overview Oak Hill is actively recruiting GPS Dozer Operators, for short and long term contract jobs in the Southern Illinois region, throughout the Midwest, and many other areas. Ability to travel is required. Housing and per diem is provided by the company while traveling. Applicants must be self-motivated, safety conscious, and efficient in the areas of production and quality. Surface 50023 MSHA papers highly preferred. Qualified applicants must have the Following Fine Grading Skills Topcon operating system skills ( preferred ) Ability to lead a group within a crew. Be able to communicate well with other employees on dirt placement etc. Forward thinking and proper planning as a job progresses Ability to put flat planes to grade as well as ditch shaping and elevation checks. Schedule Varying schedule; approximately 10-12 hour days 5-6 days per week. Off every Sunday guaranteed. Benefits
