Make the difference you were born to make in our organization! We are hiring for a Trayline Diet Clerk to join our Food Services Department .

POSITION PURPOSE

To ensure the accurate, safe, and timely service of regular and therapeutic diets to community member in Assisted Living, GMC, and the Elmwood Care Center. Provide and maintain availability of between meal snacks for community members in Elmwood Care Center and GMC. Maintain a sanitary work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure tray accuracy. Measure and record temperature of Hot Foods and Cold Foods at start and end of each tray line. Check menus prior to breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Visits community members in assigned areas for menu selections. May need to read menu to some community members. Answer trayline phone and take orders or deliver items wanted. Maintain communication with Registered Dietician regarding patient changes or needs. Always maintaining menu accuracy when doing changes. Maintain community member diet data such as current sides, drinks, and the Cook's tally sheets on a weekly basis according to Elmwood Care center census and comunity member preference changes. Deliver nourishments to GMC and Elmwood. Record temperatures of all assigned refrigerators in the Health Center. Routinely clean out all assigned refrigerators and freezers of outdated items. Maintain a neat and sanitary work area. Check for new diet orders, discharges, and any new admits for the Elmwood Care center and GMC. Create tray cards as needed. Arrive in proper, clean, pressed uniform. Wear hair net and gloves as appropriate throughout assigned shift.

10am -6:30pm / Sunday 5:30am- 1:30pm Due to California State regulations, we are required to have all our applicants pass a Background Check, Physical, and TB test.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
