Treatment Assistant (Behavioral Health Tech)

Free by the Sea is seeking dependable and compassionate Treatment Assistants (TAs) / Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our multidisciplinary team. This role provides essential clinical and operational support within a residential treatment setting, ensuring the safety, structure, and well-being of our clients. If you are reliable, calm under pressure, and passionate about helping others in recovery, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Provide supervision and support to clients in a residential treatment environment Monitor client behavior and report concerns to counselors and leadership De-escalate challenging situations in a calm, professional manner Conduct intake processes including belongings search and documentation Perform regular facility and room checks to maintain safety and compliance Monitor security cameras and ensure adherence to facility rules Assist with client self-administration of medications Collect and document Urine Drug Screens and Breathalyzer results Transport clients to appointments, meetings, and admissions as needed Document all required activities in the electronic health record Answer phones, route calls, and maintain accurate message logs Maintain a clean, safe, and structured environment Complete incident reports and communicate critical events appropriately Participate in trainings, staff meetings, and safety drills Schedule & Work Environment Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts (swing shift especially) Facility operates 24/7
