You'll work hands-on in the field with experienced arborists, learning safe and effective techniques for climbing, pruning, removals, rigging, and equipment operation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist with daily tree care operations such as pruning, removals, cabling, and bracing Perform climbing, rigging, and aerial lift work under supervision, using industry-standard safety procedures Participate in job site setup and hazard assessments Assist in operating and maintaining equipment and tools safely and efficiently Follow directions from Lead Arborist and senior crew members to complete projects on time and to company standards Support safe work practices and contribute to a positive team culture Engage in regular training sessions to build arboricultural knowledge and technical skills Stay informed on industry best practices and innovations

Qualifications:

Required:

Willing to train and obtain ISA Certified Arborist credential 1+ years of professional experience in arboriculture, including some climbing and equipment use Basic proficiency or strong interest in developing skills in rigging, pruning, removals, and aerial lift operations Willingness to learn tree risk assessment principles Physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather and lift heavy equipment Should provide own climbing gear (or willing to purchase as training progresses) Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
