Tree Climber

Advantage Tree Service has been the premier Tree Service Company in the Capital Region for over 15 years. We are looking to expand our team with passionate, like minded individuals to join our growing company. The ideal candidate is someone with experience (3-5 years) in Tree Climbing. This individual will need the ability to perform ALL manners of removals and tree trimming. Drivers License and reliable transportation is a MUST. Duties/Skills/Requirements

• Use climbing gear including saddles, ropes and harnesses to access and safely perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees, remove dead/hazardous limbs and leads, on both personal and commercial properties.
• Apply advanced rigging techniques to safely lower branches and sections of trees.
• Ability to cable and brace trees.
• Operate and maneuver a bucket truck/spider lift to access tall and hard to reach trees.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with team members to assess job sites and determine best approach for completion of work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal and clean up of sites.
• A commitment to safety protocols and practices in all aspects of work.
• Ability to perform mentally and physically demanding work, in all weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions completing assignments while effectively communicating with fellow team members.
• Ensure excellent customer service.
• Talking through work with homeowners, when needed.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary team.

Pay:

From $35.00 per hour
