Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! Duties Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and laying sod or seed for lawns Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as trimming, mowing, edging, and pruning Maintain lawns through mowing, aerating, fertilizing, and irrigation system adjustments Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features like patios or walkways Perform general landscape maintenance including weed control, mulching, debris removal, and snow plowing during winter months Use equipment such as excavators and other construction machinery under supervision for site preparation or excavation work Conduct routine inspections of landscape features and perform basic tree care like trimming or pruning to promote healthy growth Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment Experience with lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance or related outdoor work preferred Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscaping techniques is advantageous Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards Prior experience in construction or tree care is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills help transform outdoor spaces into stunning landscapes!
