Truck and Trailer Operator

Description:

Mohawk Metal Sales is seeking a skilled and dependable Truck Delivery Driver to join our team in Westmoreland, NY. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CDL driver who takes pride in safety, accuracy, and excellent customer service. Our drivers are home every night and play a hands-on role in the loading and securing of deliveries.

Responsibilities:

Operate delivery trucks with attached trailers to deliver metal roofing, siding, and related materials Load and secure your own deliveries using a tow motor and proper tie-down methods Safely navigate routes and back into tight spaces with a truck and trailer Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with customers and dispatch Assist with staging or loading when needed

Requirements:

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Experience backing up a truck and trailer is required Able to operate a tow motor (forklift) Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Dependable and professional demeanor Ability to lift and move materials as needed

Pay & Benefits:
