Looking for a hands-on, active role where no two days are the same? Freshpack is hiring a Truck Driver to move materials between our plants, handle deliveries, and keep our operations running efficiently. If you like being on the move and taking pride in your work, this is the role for you. We have openings for a Truck Driver to join our team. The Truck Driver is a vital position at Freshpack. This position will involve understanding our scheduling tools, assembling and loading the company truck, executing paperwork and computer work, and unloading and correct placement of materials into the plant. Freshpack is a custom cheese packaging company that develops and innovates cheese products and packaging. Our products can be found in all 50 states and in most major retailers. Over the past 25 years, our team has grown from 15 to 280+ employees. It is an exciting time to join our team, as we are poised for substantial growth over the next 3-5 years.Duties/Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities:
Safely operate the company truck to transfer materials between the North and South plants. Pick up and deliver materials to and from local vendors as needed. Assemble, load, and unload materials, ensuring correct placement in the plant. Complete all required paperwork and computer entries accurately and on time. Maintain proper labeling of skids and update racks with correct tags. Monitor product temperatures daily and communicate any issues to the maintenance department. Perform basic truck and equipment checks, including oil levels, inspections, and cleanliness. Maintain an organized workspace to support production and shipping & receiving efficiency.Additional Responsibilities:
Cross-train for other roles within the Shipping & Receiving department. Assist in production work when S&R tasks are complete. Sweep and maintain cleanliness in coolers and dock areas. Prepare for incoming products to streamline the receiving process. Safely operate warehouse equipment as needed.Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities Hold and maintain a valid CDL•Class B license Hold and maintain a current DOT medical card 1+ years of forklift experience Excellent communication skills Excellent computer, reading, writing, and math skills Heavy lifting required (50 lbs.+)Shift Days:
