Truck Driver

Duties Safely operate trucks with manual transmissions, tractor-trailers, and specialized equipment such as dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or forklifts. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques. Drive route-specific deliveries, ensuring on-time arrivals while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Manage refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized vehicles to transport various types of freight. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and load manifests. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on truck driving, including delivery driver roles. Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks and various trailer types such as refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks. Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment when necessary. Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety procedures for long-distance or local deliveries. Prior experience handling freight that requires special considerations like refrigerated goods or hazardous materials is a plus. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for different truck types (e.g., tanker endorsement).
