Truck Driver Class A

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong understanding of freight handling, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to operate including refrigerated trailers. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Duties

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo details.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and/or brokers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to schedules.
• Manage manual transmission vehicles when required. Skills
• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
• Ability to operate refrigerated trailers
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise during transportation.
• Attention to detail for maintaining accurate logs and ensuring compliance with regulations.
