Truck Driver Class A, Service Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver and Service Technician to join our team. This position requires a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, digging, and carrying equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials, performing service tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will play an essential role in maintaining efficient operations and upholding the high standards of service our company is known for. Responsibilities Operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials, and equipment to job sites safely and on time. Perform service and maintenance tasks, such as installation, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, ensuring all are in good working condition. Load, unload, and secure items for transport. Perform manual labor tasks, including digging, lifting, and moving heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) as needed. Ensure all safety regulations and protocols are followed while performing tasks. Maintain accurate logs of hours, mileage, and service activities. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their concerns or needs. Assist with emergency repairs or urgent service requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and company vehicles. Report any vehicle or equipment malfunctions and ensure timely repairs. Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Qualifications 5 years of relevant work experience. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial Class A driving experience is required. Experience operating heavy machinery is a plus. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles effectively. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds). Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is advantageous but not required. A commitment to safety and adherence to company policies. Ability to work in a fluid, agile work environment where daily/weekly priorities and expectations will change.
