Truck Driver - Roll Off

The roll-off driver operates a heavy duty truck and is responsible for preparing, loading, and transporting large open-top containers to and from customer sites, disposal sites and transfer stations in the Burlington, Camden, Mercer and Ocean County areas. The roll-off driver reports to the Company's Dispatcher, and interacts regularly with the Company's customers.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• The Roll-off Driver is responsible for the hauling of waste debris from large, high volume construction customers, as well as from residential and other commercial customers.
• The driver is responsible for performing assigned duties on roll-off delivery and hauling routes. Highly skilled backing maneuvers and ability to drive safely in tight spots are both essential. This physically strenuous position involves mounting and dismounting a heavy-duty truck many times each day. In addition, the position involves lifting (up to 50
• 75 pounds), pushing, pulling, and bending.
• The driver must have safe driving records and the ability to communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and the company's customer service department.
• The driver is responsible for reporting any repairs and maintenance issues with equipment assigned.
• The driver also must accurately complete logs, reports and vehicle inspections daily, and utilize the company's tracking and dispatching software. They must comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and with all company policies and procedures.
• The driver is responsible to drive in a safe and efficient manner.
• The driver is responsible to maintain a valid medical certificate and Commercial Drivers License A or B as required by State and Federal law, and to comply with DOT pre-employment drug testing requirements.
• The driver is required to have two (2) years of verifiable experience, operating a heavy duty vehicle, and one year of Roll-Off driving experience.
