Tumbling/Competitive Cheer Coach

Overview 211 Athletics is entering it's 1st year as an expanded Competitive Rec cheer facility after 4 seasons of sideline youth cheer. We are looking for experienced tumbling and cheer coaches to join us as we grow something special in a small town just south of Lubbock. This position will start in the summer of 2026. We are looking for those individuals interested in coaching toddler tumbling, Level 1 and 2 Tumbling, Competitive cheer, and stunting techniques. If you are reliable, self motivated, enthusiastic, and love kids then we want you to join us! Responsibilities Lead engaging tumbling classes that focus on safety, technique, and progression for participants of varying ages and abilities Demonstrate proper form and safety protocols to prevent injuries during practice and performances Monitor student behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment Collaborate with families, other coaches and staff to organize events, competitions, or showcases that highlight student achievements Ensure all equipment is safe, well-maintained, and used correctly during training sessions Personally know your kids and families. Provide regular progress updates. Skills Proven experience working with students in sports coaching or physical education settings background in gymnastics, cheerleading, or other related disciplines Skilled in teaching physical skills with patience and clarity; experience in childcare is highly valued
