About the Role Are you a vibrant senior or mature adult (roughly 40+ years of age) looking for meaningful, heart-centered work in the Coachella Valley? Seniors Helping Seniors® Greater Palm Springs is a new non-medical home care provider built on a unique belief: that seniors are the best people to help other seniors age with independence, grace, and dignity. We match empathetic adults who understand the aging process with clients who share similar life experiences, personalities, and interests. In this role, you aren't just a "worker" - you are a companion. Our caregivers often find they benefit just as much as our clients, building genuine friendships and finding deep purpose in their daily lives. Responsibilities Our caregivers provide a wide range of support designed to keep seniors in the homes they love. While some tasks are practical, the most important thing you provide is a compassionate heart . Ways you will assist your senior companions:

Companionship :

Engaging in friendly conversation and mental stimulation.

Daily Support :

Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.

Transportation :

Driving clients to appointments, social events, or errands across the valley.

Specialized Care :

Assisting with dementia and Alzheimer's support.

Personal Care :

Helping with dressing, bathing, and toileting as needed.

Overnight Care :

Providing peace of mind for families during the night.

Administrative Duties:

Punctuality for all scheduled shifts. Communicating health updates to Office Staff and family members. Documenting care notes via our easy-to-use care management system.

Qualifications:

Relatable:

A mature adult who can personally relate to the challenges and transitions of aging.

Dependable :

Punctual, reliable, and able to follow specific care plans.

Communicative :

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

HCA Registry :

Must be registered with the

California Home Care Aide Registry:

(If you aren't registered yet, we provide paid training to help you get there!)

Transport :

Valid CA Driver's License and a reliable, insured vehicle.

Health & Safety :
