Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing your expertise in ultrasound imaging to provide exceptional patient care. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with a strong background in general ultrasound procedures.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required Experience performing general ultrasound imaging in a clinical or hospital setting Proficiency with a variety of sonography equipment and technology Excellent patient interaction and communication skills Ability to collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour shifts Night shifts available
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols Prepare patients for their procedures, explaining the process and answering questions to ensure comfort and understanding Capture clear, accurate images and maintain meticulous documentation in patient records Ensure the sonography equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and used in accordance with safety standards Assist with departmental quality assurance efforts and participate in continuing education as needed Maintain a compassionate, patient-focused approach throughout all interactions
