Weeks Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team supporting a wide range of patient populations, including pediatric and transplant cases. This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment, including emergency and neonatal care settings.
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams across multiple specialties Evaluate pediatric emergent conditions such as appendicitis, pyloric stenosis, intussusception, and torsion Conduct neonatal head ultrasounds in NICU settings Support transplant imaging (kidney, liver, occasional pancreas) Perform obstetric ultrasound exams (primarily first trimester, with occasional limited later-term studies) Assist with rare procedures such as paracentesis when needed Ensure accurate documentation using EPIC and Philips Vue PACS Maintain equipment and adhere to infection control standards
Requirements:
ARDMS certification (required) BLS certification (required) Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC Strong experience in pediatric and transplant imaging (required) Ability to work independently in a night shift environment
Equipment & Systems:
Ultrasound equipment including E10 units, Fortis portable, and S8 portable systems Trophon 2 high-level disinfection system Pyxis medication system
