School Year Description:

Enforce all school rules and regulations which pertain to the safety and welfare of students and staff. Monitor buildings and grounds to ensure students and staff are safe and secure. Monitor and assist students and staff upon entering and leaving the school. Ensure a smooth traffic flow of students through the hallways and assisting students with on-time arrival and leaving the school during afternoon dismissal. Possess awareness of the building procedure to follow in the event of an emergency/disaster. Assist with after school, evening and sporting events. Promote student responsibility for behavior and attitude byserving as a role model, dressing and grooming professionally. Display ethical and professional behavior in working with students, parents, school personnel and outside agencies associated with the school.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in school security, public safety and/or law enforcement. Knowledge of security measures/crowd control. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate. Able to use technology efficiently such as computers, radios, video surveillance equipment.
