• Full-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Supervisor for Residential care at Grant Gardens to lead and oversee the daily operations of our residential units.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, assisted living, or long-term care environments, with proven leadership and supervisory skills. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents, foster a safe and supportive environment, and manage staff effectively to meet organizational standards and resident needs. Duties Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of residential care staff, ensuring adherence to care plans and regulatory requirements. Oversee resident care services, including medication administration, personal assistance, and health monitoring. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to residents' specific needs, including dementia and memory care considerations. Manage operational aspects such as staffing schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation to maintain efficient unit functioning. Foster a compassionate environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for all residents. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including infection control protocols and safety procedures. Provide leadership in staff training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development initiatives. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to support residents' holistic needs. Requirements Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with developing and managing care plans tailored for residents with developmental disabilities or complex health conditions. Experience in medication administration, safety protocols, and health monitoring within a residential setting. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee operations management effectively. Background in social work or related fields is advantageous; financial acumen for budgeting is preferred. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with residents' families, staff members, and healthcare providers.
