Unit Wire

As a Unit Wirer you will utilize various skills to produce high quality commercial HVAC equipment and meet the needs of your customers. You will assemble a variety of components, subassemblies which may / will start from basic components to a completed piece of equipment with quality inspections built into each step. Responsibilities/daily tasks

• Perform assigned product manufacturing and or wiring responsibilities.
• Properly install electrical wiring within HVAC units based on blueprints, schematics, and assembly guidelines.
• Connect electrical components such as motors, controls, and switches within the HVAC system.
• Use a variety of hand, power and or pneumatic tools to complete the assembly and or system within the customer equipment.
• Regularly inspect and test the wiring of HVAC units to ensure they adhere to company specifications and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve any wiring issues or discrepancies during the assembly process.
• Complete shop paperwork / records to ensure that equipment is being built in accordance with the manufacturing / customer requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Comply with the safety regulations and properly utilize personal protective equipment.
• Abide by all internal United CoolAir polices to foster a safe, efficient, and exciting work environment.
• Work with your manufacturing lead and team to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Collaborate with various departments when necessary to provide the highest quality product to your customers.
• Stay updated on the latest HVAC electrical standards, technologies, and best practices.

Pay:

$18.00 - $26.00 per hour
