WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Box Van Driver , you are more than a driver, you are a dependable professional responsible for ensuring every delivery is safe, accurate, and completed with outstanding customer service. You will operate a company van, manage efficient delivery routes, verify and handle materials with care, communicate effectively with customers and team members, and maintain both vehicle condition and delivery standards through regular inspections.
THE NITTY GRITTY
Safely operate and maintain your assigned delivery vehicle, including performing pre- and post-trip inspections Transport lumber and materials to designated locations, planning efficient routes and adjusting for weather or road conditions Load, secure, and unload materials safely, ensuring products are protected from damage Verify all deliveries against Bistrack documents, obtain signatures or scans, and follow proper procedures for discrepancies or damages Assist warehouse staff and customers with loading and unloading as needed Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and delivery issues Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep (fuel, tire pressure, minor maintenance) and report repair needs Accurately maintain delivery logs and complete required documentation Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and applicable ICC/DOT regulations
WHAT YOU NEED
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent Valid drivers license with a clean driving record Previous delivery driving experience Comfortable working around construction materials and active job sites Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Strong customer service mindset and professionalism Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Positive attitude with a team-first approach Ability to represent the company with integrity and respect
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment includes a mix of driving, warehouse interaction, and on-site deliveries, with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. This role involves regular interaction with customers, contractors, and team members in a fast-paced, physically active setting with shifting priorities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The role requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy materials, along with the ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the day. It also involves repeatedly entering and exiting the delivery vehicle while safely handling and maneuvering building materials.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some Saturday work will also be required during peak season (May - October).
