You will be responsible for safely transporting One Stop clients to and from designated locations on a scheduled route while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to organizational policies, values, and program guidelines. Duties also include monitoring vehicle safety and maintenance, documenting mileage and route activity, communicating schedule changes, and coordinating additional transportation needs with supervisor. Responsibilities Adherence to the NAMI vision, mission, and core values, as well as the established program mandates and guidelines. Operate company passenger van to transport clients to and from established pickup points and the One Stop Center on a set schedule. Complete all routes as near to schedule as possible and communicate to the facility if there are schedule deviations Check with supervisor for any additional pickups needed each day. Be courteous to all clients, residents, employees and public at all times while maintaining confidentiality Maintain company vehicle according to company policy. Check van/bus for oil, water, etc. and report maintenance issues as needed Conduct safety checks and immediately notify supervisor of any violations/irregularities. Make appointments as necessary with an authorized repair garage to correct any problems. Maintain mileage log on a daily basis indicating time left, destination, time returned and total mileage. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Clean driving record. Excellent oral and written communication skills Problem solving skills to use well-established procedures Available to work Mon-Fri during the day
