Vascular Technologist Massachusetts General Hospital United States, Massachusetts, Stoneham 21 Montvale Avenue (Show on map) May 08, 2026
Responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations on patients. Duties include preparing patients for exams, operating ultrasound equipment, and interpreting ultrasound images.
Education:
Associate's degree in Sonography requiredLicenses and Credentials:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required) Certification requiredPreferred Certifications:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Certified Sonographer
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Experience:
Prior experience working in a similar role 2-3 years requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with vascular ultrasound equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
