Operations Manager Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vegetation Control Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing vegetation growth and controlling unwanted plant and weed species across various sites. Your efforts will help maintain safe, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing environments while supporting environmental sustainability initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and equipment, and contribute to land management and ecological health. Responsibilities Conduct vegetation assessments to identify invasive species, overgrowth, and areas requiring maintenance Use hand tools, power tools, and commercial sprayers to trim, remove, or control unwanted plants and weeds Apply environmentally safe herbicides and pest control solutions following safety protocols and regulations Operate vehicles such as trucks or utility vehicles to access different work sites safely Maintain detailed records of work performed, including locations treated and methods used Assist with landscaping, lawn care, and other tasks as needed to support site management goals Perform routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure safety and proper functioning Skills Experience with sales or customer service is a plus for engaging with clients or site managers Knowledge of pest control techniques, lawn care practices, and landscaping is preferred Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and commercial equipment safely and effectively Ability to operate vehicles such as trucks or utility vehicles confidently on various terrains Familiarity with land management equipment and safety procedures for outdoor work environments Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping skills Valid driving license with a clean driving record; experience operating farm machinery is advantageous Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in landscaping, agriculture, forestry, or vegetation management (preferred but not required) Valid driver's license (required) State pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain one (preferred/required depending on role) Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Pay:

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
