A HIGHLY
motivated Auto/Truck/Trailer Body Repair/Paint Technician that will be responsible for preparing various types of vehicles for paint, at our newly constructed nineteen bay shop located in Cheshire, CT. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can work independently to perform the following duties: Prepare vehicles and equipment for painting applications Remove accessories and mask areas not to be painted Clean, sand, grind, and fill surfaces as needed Inspect damaged vehicles and assess repair requirements Remove and replace damaged body panels, bumpers, and components Repair dents, scratches, and structural damage Use body fillers and repair materials to restore vehicle appearance Safely disassemble and reassemble vehicle components Operate paint mixing systems and body repair tools Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations Collaborate with management and other team members to complete repairs efficiently
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Body Repair/Paint Technician or similar role Strong knowledge of body repair and painting preparation techniques Proficiency with paint mixing systems and related equipment Excellent attention to detail and workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in various positions Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening Full-time position with immediate openings New hires are eligible for benefits after 90 days of service: 401(k) plus Company Match Competitive Medical and Vision Insurance Company paid Dental insurance Employee Assistance Program Company paid Life insurance and
