Vending Technician

Job Overview We are on the lookout for a proactive and skilled Vending Technician to join our service team. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the smooth operation of vending machines across various locations. Your hands-on mechanical skills and customer service mindset will help keep our vending solutions reliable and accessible for customers. Must be physically fit with a good work ethic. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on vending machines to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues, replace parts when needed. Install new vending equipment, coffee units, water filters and upgrade existing units as needed. Respond promptly to service calls, addressing customer concerns and providing solutions on-site. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service activities for reporting purposes. Assist with delivery of vending machines and supplies using a box truck or similar vehicle. Assist with adding products and cleaning machines when needed. Follow safety protocols during all field service activities to ensure a safe working environment. Will work alone and with others. Must have your own hand/power tools and the ability to use them. Must pass DOT physical Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and equipment troubleshooting. Ability to read and learn manuals to make repairs and to perform routine maintenance. Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams clearly is preferred but not required. Experience in refrigeration systems and HVAC is highly desirable. If no experience, must be willing to learn basic refrigeration and repairs of fan motors and start components. Experience in plumbing is necessary to install coffee units and water filters. Experience using a volt meter to check voltage and ohm wires is highly desirable. Must be able to lift over 80lbs. Occasional compressor repairs/replacements are necessary. Previous field service or service technician experience preferred. Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Delivery driver experience with a valid license for operating box trucks or similar vehicles. Basic assembly skills for installing or replacing vending components efficiently. Training will be provided in all areas of the vending industry. Pay:

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
