Veterinarian Technician

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our animal care team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality medical care for animals, ensuring their well-being and comfort.

Duties :

Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian Handle and restrain animals during procedures Take and develop X-rays Maintain accurate medical records Educate pet owners on animal care and treatment plans Monitor and care for hospitalized animals

Requirements :

Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology Proficiency in dog handling and training Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology Familiarity with aseptic techniques for surgical preparation Experience in veterinary critical care and catheterization Strong passion for animal care and well-being

Preferred Skills:

X-Ray proficiency Experience in pet care or veterinary settings

Compensation:
