Our veterinary assistant position is an integral part of our team that helps maintain the smooth flow of business. No experience is required if you are a dedicated, hard working person with a great attitude. We will train you, and you'll learn while you work! You must be a high school graduate with some level of secondary education. This position has a number of responsibilities, including but not limited to assisting the Veterinarian, technician or receptionist, taking care of our pet guests, and keeping the facility and property looking its best. At times these duties (and more) will need to be handled at a fast pace and completed properly and efficiently. Multi-tasking, good organizational skills and remaining calm under pressure are must haves for applicants. Although no veterinary experience is required, it is a plus, and all team members must undergo continual training in the realm of veterinary medicine and customer service. You must have good study skills. That being said, applicants must have a willingness and affinity to learn with a "can do" attitude. They must also be in good physical condition with good flexibility.
