Veterinary Assistant (Part-time)

Experienced Veterinary Assistant - Part-Time The experienced veterinary assistant position is responsible for, but not limited to, working as a team player, caring for dogs and cats, helping clients understand treatments and medications, preparing vaccines, cleaning throughout the hospital, safe and proper animal restraint, assisting in surgeries, entering medical notes properly, filling medications, and anything else needed to support the hospital team. Pets R Family Animal Hospital is an extremely high-paced environment where the main focus is providing excellent patient care while delivering outstanding customer service to clients at all times. Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic are a must. Previous veterinary experience is a plus; however, training will be provided for the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow in the field. Strong customer service and communication skills are required. Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, multitasking, and handling both patient care and client interactions professionally. Schedule consists of 2-3 shifts per week from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM. We are looking to hire as quickly as possible.
