Job Description

Veterinary Assistant / Technician (Full and Part-time) Lakeside, MT A trusted veterinary clinic in Kalispell is seeking to add to its compassionate and dedicated team. Serving the Flathead Valley, this practice is known for providing high-quality care to a wide range of animals while prioritizing a calm, supportive experience for both pets and their owners. With a focus on teamwork, professionalism, and genuine compassion, the clinic fosters a positive environment where staff are valued and encouraged to grow. Why You Want This Position:
Wage:
$20 to $27/hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Full-time and Part-time options available No weekends or overnights and no on-calls Companion animal focused practice with no large animal services Opportunities for training, hands on experience and growth within the company
Essential Functions and Duties:
Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and patient handling Monitor animal comfort and report concerns Administer medications, collect lab samples, and support basic testing (as allowed) Maintain accurate records and clean/sterilize equipment and treatment areas Provide friendly client service, including communication and basic care instructions Support front desk tasks and help maintain a clean, organized clinic environment
Qualifications:
Proven experience in animal care and customer service
CVT, LVT, RVT
certification or equivalent experience (Technician level) Strong clinical knowledge of veterinary procedures (Technician level) Kind, patient, and respectful approach to animals and clients Dependable, hardworking, and able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift and assist with animals up to 50+ lbs, stand, bend, and move throughout the day Call or text Dre in our LC Staffing Kalispell Office at 406-298-9148 42258
