VETERINARY ASSISTANT / NURSE

What You'll Do:

Assist during exams and procedures using Fear Free handling techniques Collect lab samples (blood, urine, feces) and perform basic diagnostics Monitor hospitalized patients, administer medications, and support recovery Communicate clearly with the team and clients Maintain clean and safe exam, treatment, and ICU areas Be a dedicated team player that exemplifies our doctors and practice's values

What We're Looking For:

At least some medical experience in a vet clinic, animal shelter, or boarding facility Formal vet assistant training is a plus Eager to learn, able to multitask, and comfortable with active physical work (walking, bending, standing, stooping frequently) Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and occasionally handle patients up to and over 150 lbs (help provided for larger patients)
