Veterinary Cardiologist Dogs and Cats Emergency & Specialty is seeking a Board Certified or Residency Trained Cardiologist to join our team!

Location:

HERERole and Responsibilities:

Dogs and Cats Emergency & Specialty (DCES), a multi-specialty and emergency 24-hour hospital, is excited to invite applications for a full-time board certified or residency-trained/board eligible Cardiologist. Our growing team seeks a collaborative, friendly, and compassionate professional to assist in the intake and management of outpatient and inpatient cardiac care patients. As a Cardiologist, you'll work closely with our specialty and emergency and critical care teams, w your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the intake and management of hospitalized cardiology patients
• Taking direct referrals from our referral partners in the community, as well as internal referrals
• Creating and recommending treatment plans
• Compassionate and thorough client communication
• Maintaining and updating medical records
• Facilitating in-house consultations for our specialty and emergency services as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate is someone with:

• Residency training in Cardiology (board certified or eligible)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A compassionate and friendly demeanor

Schedule:

We understand that work-life balance is critical to your well-being. With this in consideration, we designed the schedule as follows:

• 4 daytime shifts per week, up to 10 hours Please note, this is a full-time position and further details on schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
