Veterinary Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician (licensed or current on line, in person student) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our veterinarians in providing top-notch care to our animal patients. Responsibilities

• Perform animal restraint during examinations and procedures
• Utilize veterinary terminology accurately in patient records and communications
• Provide compassionate pet care and ensure the well-being of animals
• Handle animals with care and attention to their comfort and safety
• Assist with animal catheterization procedures
• Support veterinarians in various tasks as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kennel area
• Assist with dog training exercises
• Understand animal physiology to assist in treatment plans
• Conduct laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures Skills
• Proficient in animal restraint techniques
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology for effective communication
• Experience in pet care and handling various animals
• Competent in animal catheterization procedures
• Previous experience as a veterinary technician is a plus
• Familiarity with kennel operations and maintenance
• Ability to assist with dog training activities
• Understanding of animal physiology for medical support
• Proficiency in conducting laboratory tests
