Veterinary Technician

Growing 4 doctor mixed practice, 70% small animal and 30% large animal. Facility built new in 2001. Must have an AAS Degree in Veterinary Technology Certification preferred and experience is required Utilize your veterinary skills: Blood draws, IV catheter placement, administer and monitor anesthesia, prep and monitoring of surgery patients. In house lab testing includes urinalysis, fecal exams, and operate our blood machines efficiently (Idexx). Perform dental cleanings/radiographs. Laser Therapy, client education, patient and client communications, pharmacy, some reception duties, and minimal kennel duties. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Organization skills are important, as well as being prompt/reliable.
