Veterinary Technician

Looking for a technician or applicant with similar work experience who wants to use all of those people and technical skills you have worked hard for to become a part of our team. We take pride in our team culture, our hospital, our pet care and our client service. We are located in a a small upscale strip mall in a growing suburb in South Carolina just south of Charlotte, NC. In this position, you will assist the doctor with patients in exam rooms, provide client education, administer treatments, assist in surgery and perform dental cleanings, draw blood and run lab work. We have Idexx machines and digital x-rays. The position is full-time or part-time and includes one Saturday morning per month. We do not have boarding or overnight hospitilization so no additional weekend time expected. Full time benefits include paid PTO days after 6 months of employment, 7 paid holidays, 401K and a pet benefit package. We currently have an earned bonus program for staff members if our hospital goals and expectations are met. This applicant should have excellent communication skills and a positive team oriented approach. Personal responsibility and ability to see what needs to be done and a willingness to meet our patients and clients needs are a must. At least 2-3 years experience needed including assisting with anesthesia/surgery. A registered, licensed technician in South Carolina is preferred but not required. A degree from an accredited veterinary technician program is required, but consideration will be given for candidates with extensive experience who do not have a degree. Pay is hourly and commensurate with experience and credentials.
