Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant

Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Prior experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated, eager to learn, and interested in building a long term career in veterinary medicine. This role involves working in both the treatment area and the reception area as needed, so flexibility and a team oriented mindset are essential. Work Schedule Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM First and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM Availability for all of the above hours is required. Responsibilities Assist the veterinarian during examinations and medical procedures Safely and compassionately handle and restrain dogs and cats Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean and organized hospital environment Administer medications and treatments under veterinary supervision Communicate professionally and kindly with clients Answer phones and assist with reception duties as needed Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast paced environment Qualifications Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience preferred but not required for the right candidate Comfortable working with both dogs and cats Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in both treatment and reception areas Reliable, professional, and friendly demeanor Willingness to learn and take initiative English proficiency required Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Employee discount on veterinary services for personal pets How to Apply If you are interested in joining our team, please submit your resume along with a brief introduction about yourself.
